ISMAY, Sir Stanley (1848-1914). Indian Civil Servant; Chief Judge of the Mysore Chief Court.
Autograph Letter Signed [probably to Theobald], 1 page 8vo, Caerlaverock [Ootacamund, India], 25 February 1914, with identifying notes at the head in another hand. Agreeing to preside at a lecture, the notes identifying it as one by J S Thornton on Westminster Abbey 'with about 60 slides'.
