Autograph Letter Signed ('T.E. Shaw') to General Sir Neill Malcolm, 1 page 8vo (oblong), 14 Barton Street, Westminster, 21 September 1929. Explaining that he cannot dine because he has only one suit, and that a scruffy one, and to turn up in uniform might appear an affectation, and suggesting that they meet in the daytime.
