GREENE, Graham (1904-1991). Novelist. Typewritten Letter Signed to the controversial television broadcaster Daniel Farson (1927-1997), 1 page 8vo (two filing holes in the margin), C6 Albany, 14 March 1957. Declaring 'a rooted objection to appearing on television' and inquiring after Farson's father. Though Greene always refused to appear on television, he did make an appearnce in a French movie (La Nuit américaine) directed by François Truffaut. Farson's father was Negley Farson, an American journalist. Obviously typed with a worn ribbon, the type is rather faint. [No: 26167]
