WALTON, Sir William (1902-1983). Composer.
Signature in ink ('William Walton') on the last page of the programme for a Promenande Concert on 4 August no year, but probably 1940s. Walton was to conduct the Suite from Façade in the second half of the concert. The programme is a simple four-page production, perhaps symptomatic of wartime economy.
