Fine Autograph Letter Signed to an unnamed correspondent ('My Dear Sir'), 1½ pages 8vo with two sketches at the head, 'Friday', no date Integral blank leaf. Relating to an exhibition catalogue, and explaining that it was likely to be out of date. There is no explanation in the letter of the two sketches at the top of the letter.
In a postscript Ruskin thanks his correspondent for returning a glove.

'I am afraid the catalogue I send by parcels delivery company will be of no use - the date being 1840 - and there are always changes going on; the small rooms off the tribune have been lately altered - and I don't know with what view or arrangements. The opposite on west side - and the arrangement of the pictures in the eastern long gallery itself is I think unchanged. believe me my dear sir Yours very truly
