Autograph Letter Signed to an unnamed artist, 1 page 4to (second, blank page missing), St George's Place, Hyde Park Corner, 28 October 1824. Pleading ill health and theatre commitments as excuses for not complying with his correspondent's request ('besides which I will candidly avow my intention never to sit again for my portrait').
