Autograph Letter Signed to [Donald Coggan], the Bishop of Bradford (and later Archbishop of Canterbury), 1 page 8vo, Magdalene College, Cambridge, 4 February 1960. Concerning the work of the group overseeing the revision of the psalms for The Revised Psalter.
'We finished our translation last night and Bishop Chase is sending the MS to Miss Allen.
 We have also collaborated on a preface for the first Book when it is presented to Convocation. I enclose the draft
[no longer included] ...'
C S Lewis was made a member of the committee appointed by the convocations of York and Canterbury to revise the psalms in 1958. The finished work appeared in 1963.
