Autograph Letter Signed to an unnamed correspondent (endorsed by 'F Ford'), 1 page 8vo (laid down by the second leaf), no place, no date ?1823. Thanking her correspondent profusely for a gift.
'... To tear the Cloaths off your back is at once quite shocking and quite gratifying. What an introduction. I write in haste as there is a warm conversation now carrying on in my room'
The letter is endorsed in pencil and ink 'This must have been 1823. She liked my Cloak. I sent it to her. F Ford'.
