NELSON, Horatio, Viscount (1758-1805). Vice-admiral.
Letter Signed ('Horatio Nelson') with his right hand to Rear Admiral Robert Linzee, 1 page 4to, Agamemnon, Mortello Bay, 2 February 1794. Ordering a survey of the Linzee's remaining stores in preparation of the annual accounts.
Nelson was at this time cruising in the Mediterranean, in command of the Agamemnon.Although the letter shows signs of wear, being slightly soiled and worn in the creases and at the edges, the text is unaffected and the signature is clear.
Apparently unpublished, not in Nicolas's Dispatches and Letters.
