Autograph Letter Signed to 'Dear Friend', 1 page 8vo in purple ink, Amesbury [Massachusetts], 26 October 1883. Agreeing to see Colonel ?Barr, although not well, and adding that 'I have just seen the book. It is well got up outwardly as well as inwardly'.
